Are you willing to do what it takes?
This is the most important question to answer.
In order to make your dreams come true, are you willing to:
Change what must be changed?
Do what must be done?
Work hard on your passions so that you can materialize profits?
Financially invest in yourself, your business and your products?
Pitch your ideas even if you are shaking in your high heels?
Get a good mentor and receive coaching and direction ?
Let go of self limiting stories?
Study, read, and attend more live events and seminars?
MasterMind and or network more with like-minded, people?
Release the past?
Continue on even when I meet with a failure?
Be willing to let something go that no longer serves me?
Tell myself the truth?
Refuse to be a victim of the recession, past mistakes and non-supportive relationships?
I am a huge fan of The Secret, the popular book and movie that teaches about the Law of Attraction. In a nutshell, I do believe that our intention is THE strongest influence on our outcomes and results. We really have to know and believe with all of our heart, the truth of that which we wish to bring into our reality.
Problem is that alot of folks who follow law of attraction principles ‘rest on their laurels” waiting for the universe to grant their wishes. A vision board and a list of intentions is simply not enough. I once heard Michael Beckwith say, “put a demand on the supply” which really means show the universe you mean business! You may need to let go of some old energies, habits and patterns that are sabotoging you. That isn’t easy to do. It may mean for you that you actually follow up and telephone the leads you received at the latest networking event instead of throwing them into a basket to look at later and feel bad. Or it might mean for you that you enroll for that presentation skills course you’ve been avoiding ( costs too much, not the right time, maybe next quarter, ya-da,ya-da,ya-da) so you show up stronger and more influential when you speak or have a media opportunity.
All of us have things we know are holding us back.Make a decison today to do what you need to do, even if it’s scary, hard or makes you feel nervous. If you really want your big dream to happen, then you’re going to need to “show up” and do what it takes!
Another really great story of success and a huge advocate of hard work is Gary Vaynerchuk, who started a show about wine, because it was one of his biggest passions. He’s adament that his success and celebrity is because he works hard, stays focused on his dreams and goals and he does whatever it will take!
What are your dreams for your business? For your life? What do you want to contribute? The truth? Your dreams need both intention and your active participation. Calling all dreamers, you’ve got it “going” on, keep dreaming big, but don’t forget, be willing to do what it takes to make it happen.
