Want More Sales?

by Diana Long on August 14, 2009

Yes, sure the economy has taken a huge hit in this past year. Evidence of the ripple effect of economic conditions are everywhere. Does this mean we should all just sit around, complain and wish for better days?
Absolutely not! Now more than ever,we need to take charge of our own mindset and flush out any limiting beliefs about our ability to connect with our ideal clients and provide our premium services at premium prices.

The key here is connecting with our ideal clients. How visible are you? Does your marketing plan need updated? What about your networking and pr efforts? Do you consistantly reach out to your past and current customers?

There’s always room for improvement in our own client acquisition process. I lead my clients through a checklist so they can identify the areas in which they can boost business by connecting with their ideal clients regularly. What you will discover is that there’s “gold” there.

Here’s a few reasons why your ideal client may not be latching onto your product or service. These days buyers are more selective. The key is that people are still buying, but they are picking and choosing very carefully>

Here are a few reasons why your prospect may not buy from you:

-doesn’t think it will work for them
-thinks it’s too expensive
-too complicated/too much time
-not clear why I need it
-I can put off, don’t need it now (not such a big problem)

It’s us to you as the business owner to take into account these objections and be sure to emphasize and “sell” the value and benefits to your potential clients. Put yourself “in their shoes”, try to think like them and tailor your marketing messages and personal communication from a genuine, heartfelt enthusiasm and persuasion and watch your sales increase.

Thrilled customers, more money in the bank and feeling fulfilled with your work? Priceless!
