Want to Know a Success Secret? Doing Less is More!

by Diana Long on June 23, 2008

Are you overdoing it by doing it all yourself?

HUGE mistake.

You must and I repeat…You must learn to delegate.

I know, I know, I can hear you saying – yes, but…

1.  I don’t have the cash flow to pay for assistants

2.  I wouldn’t know what to delegate

3.  No one can do it as well as I would do it, so that’s why I do it myself.

My simple answer to all 3 objections is this:

You cannot afford not to learn to delegate. You just can’t! Do an honest inventory and track your time. Exactly what do you do each and every day? Most people are busy from sun up to sun down doing lots of things that need to get done (administrative tasks, errands, housework) but are not making progress with the big goals that they have.

Something is wrong with this picture!

Successful people know this secret. They know the value of their time. They understand that spending time doing tasks that someone else could handle for them, allows them the time to do what they are skilled at and can make money from!

Strengthen your business and your personal life by learning to say NO, I’m not going to do it all myself. I’m committed to working smarter, not harder!!!!

Say YES to delegating. By delegating, you maximize and leverage your skills, so that you can make more money and enjoy more freedom. Isn’t that what you want?

Wondering where to start? A great resource is your local high school. Hire an honor student to do personal errands and light administrative work. You will LOVE the extra free time this will allow you.

For more specialized tasks, I gladly pay more for expert help. Try these 2 great resources for your projects and administrative needs.
